SOLANG SKYULTRA - 100 KM

The Solang SkyUltra was a true test of adaptability and endurance, thus they call it The DNF Race. Just a day before the race, the route was changed due to severe weather, turning the challenge into two demanding loops through snow-covered, high-altitude terrain. Every climb was steeper, every descent more unpredictable, with footing uncertain on icy stretches. This wasn’t the conventional course-it was far tougher. Completing it meant embracing the unexpected and proving that mental strength often matters more than a perfect plan. Hats off to The Hell Race, a truly world-class event.

LONDON -TO- BRIGHTON 100 KM CHALLENGE

The 100 km journey from London to Brighton was a relentless test-starting at Richmond, navigating the North Downs and Surrey & Sussex countryside, through 1,500 m+ of climbs, and finishing on the Brighton coastline. Every hour brought new fatigue, terrain shifts, and mental hurdles. This run was extra special, as a few of my trainees also completed it alongside me, sharing every challenge. Crossing that finish line wasn’t just about covering the kilometres-it was a statement that commitment turns challenge into achievement.

1st INDIAN TO COMPLETE SWISS CANYON TRAIL

The Swiss Canyon Trail was an unforgiving test-114 km through relentless mud, rain-soaked alpine trails, and over 5,000 meters of elevation gain. Every climb demanded more grit, every descent punished tired legs. But quitting was never an option. This wasn’t just another race; it was about proving that perseverance always outlasts pain. Crossing that finish line as the first Indian to complete this iconic ultra was more than a milestone-it was a reminder that purpose can power you through anything.

1st INDIAN TO ACHIEVE TGCC

Running the Trans Gran Canaria 2024 was an intense journey-126 km of rugged terrain with over 6800 meters of elevation gain. Every step in those mountains tested my limits over two consecutive sleepless nights of running. As the hours wore on, I had to dig deep, pushing through exhaustion and the relentless climbs. But I knew I had to keep going. Crossing that finish line as the first and only Indian to complete this race was a moment of immense pride. It wasn’t just about finishing; it was about showing that with grit and determination, even the toughest challenges can be conquered.

171 KM SELF-SUPPORTED RUN

The 171 km run was my ultimate endurance test. It was a self-supported challenge, navigating the cold Delhi/NCR winters while running through the night. The real battle wasn’t just the distance-it was staying awake and pushing through the exhaustion. With each step, I had to fight off the urge to stop, knowing that this wasn’t just about the physical challenge but about mental resilience. By the end, I didn’t just complete the run-I discovered new limits and broke through them, proving to myself that I could go further than I ever imagined.. And as always, the best is yet to come.

72 KM RUN – KHARDUNGLA CHALLENGE LADAKH 2022

The Khardungla Challenge was an incredible journey of joy. While the temperature, distance, and elevation were factors, they were manageable. The real challenge was the low oxygen levels at such a high altitude. No matter how strong you are, if your brain is hunting for oxygen, it won’t function as it should. However, with proper acclimatization and the right training, I managed to push through and finish strong. It was a test of preparation and endurance in one of the most extreme environments I’ve ever faced.

DELHI-MUMBAI CYCLING EXPEDITION 2016 (1440 KM)

The cycling journey from India Gate in New Delhi to the Gateway of India in Mumbai was an unforgettable experience. A group of 24 riders embarked on this first cycling expedition, covering 1440 km in just 5 nights and 6 days, known as G2G (India Gate to Gateway of Mumbai). The toughest part was riding the next day after long distances, as the body naturally craved rest. However, the bond formed with fellow riders from Delhi Cyclist, supporting and taking care of each other, made it all worthwhile. It was pure bliss to share this adventure with such a great group.
